Visualizing the Perfect Day

If you want to start manifesting the life of your dreams, you have to start with a dream or a vision for your life. There have been times in my life when I just dread my day to day existence. I just pushed myself through the day or the week just so I could get home and relax on the weekend. Well, I did that for too many years and I finally decided I was not going to live that way anymore. I leapt and the net appeared. Now don’t get me wrong, I didn’t just one day wake up and everything was perfect. I visualized what I wanted and prepared. Now, you can never plan for everything and all the visualizing and preparation has to finally conclude with you taking action.

Even after you take that first step towards your dreams you are going to have some opposition to what you desire. It’s just a part of the process. It’s like if you are stuck in the mud. It’s going to take a lot of effort to get unstuck but as you get free it gets easier and easier. Now you still will have mud clinging to you and after you are unstuck you can work on getting rid of the remaining dirt.

The problem comes when you look at all the mess and think, this will take forever to clean up. Well, it may take a while but the longer you wait the longer it will take and you just need to decide what you want and go for it.

That’s where visualization comes into play again. If you can picture how you want things to be, you can then plan and get your brain working on thinking of the solutions and processes for making it happen. So it all starts with a thought. Picture in your mind the perfect scene for your perfect day. Where are you in your perfect day? Are you at home? Are you outside at the beach or at a park? Are you alone or with someone special? What types of things are around you? Are there people or animals? Can you see buildings or trees? What are some things you can hear? Is the winding gently blowing or can you hear birds chirping? What are you doing? Are you moving or resting? What do you smell or taste?

The more detail you can add to your visualization the better. Try to include all five senses of sight, sound, smell, taste and feel. Plan ahead in your mind how the day would start and finish and several highlights of things that might happen in between. Now notice how having that perfect day makes you feel inside. What kind of emotions are you experiencing? Are you peaceful or excited? Are you happy or thoughtful? Focus on just a few feelings to begin with and locate where in your body you experience those emotions. Where do you feel the excitement, in your stomach or tingles down your arms? Where do you feel gratitude, in the center of your chest or somewhere else?

Once you have spent some time visualizing what your perfect day would be like then you will start to get ideas of what you can do to make little parts of that day come true. Maybe some part of that day seems impossible and would never happen. Don’t worry just keep visualizing those things happening and be sure to focus on how they would make you feel.

I love to visualize my perfect day because the fun part is I can change it and add to it any time I want. If I want a little bit of a change of pace, I can visualize doing something new and exciting. If I want to just relax, I can visualize a peaceful scene and day of pampering.
