| New Success Story July 21, 2005 Well, I guess all those vitamins and eating right paid off!! I got a big fat positive!!!! I'm a little nervous because of the last miscarriage but I'm getting my blood drawn to see how things are going. July 28, 2005 I got my blood drawn on Thursday and then again on Saturday. My hcg was 129 then 390. More than double!! Yeah!! My progesterone is another story. 18.7 on Thursday then it dropped to 14. I called my ob/gyn in a panic. She prescribed 200 mg prometrium suppositories twice a day. Hopefully that will help. My first appointment is August 4th. May 28, 2006 Well, it's been a while since I updated this website. The pregnancy went really smoothly and we have a beautiful little boy who arrived in March. I'm finally getting back into the swing of things. November 4, 2006 Hello again. It's been pretty busy around here being the mother of a preschooler and infant. We got some more wonderful news back in July of this year. We are expecting again!!! It was quite a surprise since it had taken so much time in the past, plus I was still trying to breastfeed the new little one. I had some spotting but I thought it was just some residual post-partum bleeding. It was so light I didn't even think it could have been my cycle starting up again. It had taken over a year for my cycles to return with my first pregnancy so I just didn't realize what was happening. That's a big change for someone who used to be so obsessed with noting every little possible sign of fertility. So things are going well and we are looking forward to our new arrival next spring. |
