Well, April has sure been flying by.  I’ve been busy working on my niche sites.  I found a helpful tool that has given me some great ideas for making my websites better.  It’s called Website Grader from the folks at Hubspot.  I ran reports on several of my sites and found lots of little fixes I could make to improve things.  I had several sites with missing meta information and pictures without alt tags.  I made some of the suggested changes and hopefully will get a boost in the rankings because of them. 

I’ve also been doing some competitive analysis and got some insight into how to get more backlinks.  I’m going to test out some things and let you know what worked and what didn’t.

I’m taking a little break from promoting JV products unless something really cool is launching.  While it can be fun and profitable to participate, I do have to spend time working on promotions and I want to focus more of that time on my own sites and increasing traffic, building my list and providing more value.
